great place, lots of adventure here growing up as a kid. My family was the 2nd to enter when they opened in the 70's. We returned every summer as it was no further to work for Dad and the camping rates were cheaper than keeping the power on at home all summer. Miles of bike trails and several good fishing holes. The boy scouts used to jamboree in a remote area of the park away from the campground. As a kid I often ventured out on my bike for hours and though my folks put their trust in the chain-link fence that surrounds the park, I enjoyed much of the local towns as well.See more..
