Culture pure in Frankfurt. Dozens of museums open their doors, shows, workshops, art, music speciality handwork is on view all along the river on both banks. A yearly extravaganza ending in a massive firework show. Don't miss the dragon boat racing and, of course, plenty to eat and drink, this is, after all, in Germany.For a non-mainstream music entertainment I always go to the RadioX stage (below the Holbein foot bridge), always something new and interesting to hear.

A walk under the trees
The Frankfurt Museumsufer is a tree lined walk along the Main River on one side and multiple museums and restaurants on the opposite side. The museums range from film, architectural, Art at the Stadel and many other delights. The places you can eat at range from fine dining to Spanish Tapas to trendy cafe bars along the Main river. This area also hosts multiple festivals to include the Mainufer Fest held around late August or early September.

Nice place for a walk
Various museums as the name suggests, but also appealing restaurants and bars, and because of the location on the banks of the main river with various parks and old trees, a lot of nature for a city location
