We have visited many times at this museum. There is a permanent exhibition but every time there is something new to see. Alongside the known Finnish design, the exhibition showed this time the work of Nordic designers from the 1940s to the present day. In the basement was a striking exhibition showing works using Schick Toikka fonts. See more..

    Mannerheim Museum image
Mannerheim Museum is the home of Carl Gustaf Emil Mannerheim, Marshal of Finland. He is a very well known Finnish statesman and military officer who lived in this house 1924-1951. The museum depicts Marshal Mannerheim's home as it was in the early 1940s, with the rooms furnished in an original way with the exception of three exhibition rooms. The museum is only accessed with a guided one-hour tour. Tours are arranged as visitors arrive. The easiest way to get to the museum is to climb the stairs up from the shore opposite the Statue of Peace. See more..
