We escaped the summer heat to the sea and booked a 21-hour cruise to Tallinn onboard Silja Europa. The price was 165 euros for two persons in a Deluxe cabin. Special breakfasts and cabin minibar are included in the price of deluxe cabins and suites. The ship came quite full. The embarkation and disembarkation were slow in the hot tube without air conditioning. We had three meals at the Grill House restaurant: dinner, breakfast, and lunch. The service was very friendly and the food was tasty. It was noticeable that the prices have gone up also here. The sunset arrival in Tallinn was spectacular. It was still warm on the sundeck at 22:00. We completely missed all the entertainment. It is usually better at Helsinki-Stockholm ferries. See more..
  2. 4.0 Viking Line - Day Cruises (1.500 reviews)
    - Pleasant one-way journey to Stockholm

From our previous cruise, we got a tax-free voucher. With that, the price for a renovated A4T cabin with a television was only 20 euros. My partner used his 920 boats away and the price dropped still 9,20. With the special breakfasts, the total price was just 54,80. One criticism about the Viking Club is that we cannot collect boats to the same account as in Tallink Silja. Also, the benefits are quite minimal. For 1 euro consumed you get one boat or two boats (at Plus level). The value for one boat is 1 cent. So you get a 1% or 2% discount as a Viking Club member for the money used. We had a pleasant dinner at the Grill restaurant. Also, the special breakfast was very enjoyable. There were not many guests and you could order the warm dish from the menu. The service was friendly everywhere. See more..
