This is far the top attraction. You can skip something else but do not miss this. This took my breath away. But it needs to be done at night. Dress warmly.

Harbin Ice Light party
Dress warm and then enjoy the sculptures and the food! The ice exhibits are fantastic, at night, when lit with the various colored lights. Sleigh rides are available too.

Beautiful sculptures
The information we found online about the different festival sites was a little confusing, but we decided to check out this site on our first evening. It was beautiful admiring all the many sculptures, and fun to stop in to drink a beer out of an ice mug! We're glad that we went to see this site before we went to Ice and Snow world - the bigger festival area - as we think this would have been a bit of a disappointment had we seen the sights the other way around.
