Beautiful scenery
When I first get to Mohe city, I was surprised to see its unique buildings which are quite different from other cities in China. The streets are wide and spaciously lay out. Nature is everywhere in Mohe county and it's easy to join a local tour (small group) to explore the Northern forests and rivers in the area. I highly recommend the place if you are a nature lover. If you cone during the warm season, you can even go further into inner Mongolia to visit the big prairie.

Vast forest
Straightly speaking this area is China’s largest boreal forest, which supports the country’s largest timber industry. That’s why the area is well protected with restricted roads. Driving along lines of pine and birch is a great experience.

Extremely cold ...
If you can get past the bitterly cold temperatures of minus 45 degrees celsius, then the snowbound scenery of mohe is really pretty. Here you can have lots of fun playing in the snow, building snowmen. Good for couples and families with kids, and anyone else with lots of energy and tolerance for extreme cold.
