Most enjoyable
We have visited Jamaica several times but without finding Tryall until recently. It looks and feels like a younger version of Half Moon, has similar facilities and our caddy was the delightful and most helpful William. The course is flattish for the first few holes and then meanders around the hills and the water wheel with some delightful views of the ocean and vegetation. It is certainly a course worth revisiting and is now on our Jamaica must play list. The waterfront bar for apres golf gives some spectacular views of the bay.

A Championship Course in Jamaica - bring extra balls
The Tryall Golf Course is a wonderful 18 hole course that is almost three courses in one. It has a handful of waterside/vies holes, some fairly level ones and six that head up the side of the mountain and offer spectacular views. This is a very good layout that requires some real shot making while offering some real risk/reward choices. Highlights include the waterside fourth, the seventh where the championship tees call for you to tee off through the arches of an aqueduct and the fourteenth which is spectacular downhill. The course has generous ladies and senior tees which allows this challenging layout to be enjoyed by all. Bring some extra balls, as between the water and the relatively tight fairways, you may find you'll lose a few if you are not on target.
