Inexpensive Family Fun

This country creamery is a little hidden gem. This was a perfect afternoon adventure which we will not hesitate to do again when we're in the UMass area. The weather was the perfect Fall day to play a round of miniature golf, stroll through the little petting zoo - and finish the afternoon with delicious homemade ice cream. We opted not to participate in the haunted hay ride, but it did look like those that died, enjoyed themselves. The pumpkins were already picked, but were nice looking and very reasonably priced. Amazing, inexpensive family fun!

    Awesome for Inexpensive Family Fun
I love this place, they are laid back easy going family spot. You can feed the animals by buying a cone filled with feed for only a buck. A great place. The lady who said it there wasnt anyone watching you feed the adorable critters is right, it is not a rule filled noho tight, pc everthing place. It is a down to earth old fasioned easy going Fun Heaven! If you want to be babysat and penny pinched this is not the place. Mini golf is great and it is the honor system, if you say you have 4 people playing they believe you not watch you like hawks. My Husband, Myself and My 3 kids wait all summer for Mc Crays to reopen. We start with an inexpensive quality breakfast, play some mini golf, feed some goats, and then get hot fudge sundays! At least twice a month in the summer and it doesnt break the bank even with 3 kids and 2 audults. And when the kids are at camp, i sneak over for a cup of soup and half sandwhich for like less than 8 dollars and a slice of ice cream pie to go. Its amazing stuff. Cakes are good to, but getting a slice thats unheard of at carvel or friendlys. I love them to but McCrays is THE BEST, for Quality yet cheap family FUN! Try the Ice Cream Pie, its so yummy!

wonderful place for local dairy products, ice cream and lots of attractions for children
We live nearby and make a point of buying as many of our dairy product needs from McCray's. We most frequently buy their milk, and regularly go there for ice cream. We always take house guests there, as we feel it's an important local attraction.
