Peaceful, tranquil and relaxing
Great place to walk, watch birds, see wildlife. Friendly staff. There's a great pond to canoe or kayak. The trails lead you to many great locations in the sanctuary and there are often deer roaming the property. Great place for a walk alone, with someone special or with the kids.

A Peaceful Place For a Walk
As members of the Audubon, we enjoyed visiting this large property in Easthampton, MA. We enjoyed a peaceful walk along the Mill River, and climbed up the winding staircase of the tower. We were struck by how low the water level was. By contrast, it was almost unbelievable that the water could ever have risen as high as the signs showing the flood levels years ago. We didn't see or hear too many birds during our walk, but we enjoyed ourselves. Since we visit central MA pretty often, I'm sure we'll visit again.
