Pleasantly Surprised
The main attraction is supposed to be a mosaic and I am not really into mosaics but I was pleasantly surprised how it cool this one was. There were other nice pieces too, including a giant black basalt cat. The museum is well signed in several languages and only takes about 45 minutes to walk through. It is a nice break from the sun and is next door to the Omar Ibn Al Khattab Mosque, which is also worth seeing. This museum is located just north of the Orontes River in Hama.
