Wait for Calm Waters
We had some really good sunny days in Sanya Bay. The water is quite warm and you can usually find a spot on the beach to put your stuff. The coconut corridor walk is nice and you can find quite a few prime eating spots and bars around Sanya Bay. To see a good view from up high go to Luhuitou Park or a rooftop bar in the area. Please note that the bay is not always safe to swim and you have to keep an eye on the flags. Best to see the bay when it is sunny and clear or during sunset.

Lots to enjoy along this looooong beach
Nice long fantastic beach. It is a great place to relax when not overcrowded. The locals are friendly and helpful, even to people with a very limited 4-word Chinese vocabulary. Beach and water were clean during our visit. Nice sunset views.

Nice beach
A very nice Sandy beach with clear and clean water. It is a public one so be ready to be bothered by many outsiders. Very far from any attraction or even resturants or cafes. Bring your own stuff as you will find nothing there
