Hairui's Tomb, Hainan, China

3.5 (18 reviews) Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Spent Ranking #26 in Haikou Monuments & Statues

One of the few attraction in haikou

I need to be agree to kit reviews. It doesn't have much things to do here, and you need to get a private chartered car. They do not have plenty of taxis here. I went there with a private chartered car, so I find no problem. There's nothing to see, not that interesting, but that's one of the best there. You went to haikou, just come here and see. At least you've seen it. I bought a sweet potato infront of the gate, it was 8rmb, not cheap for one potato, but it was so good.

A bit out of the way
Ok it's only 10 Rmb and it is genuine MIng dynasty tomb as are the statues leading up to it. Go clockwise around the Walls to see the pictures depicting his life. We got abandoned by our taxi, and no others around. However we walked towards town (thats to the right) along the highway 500 meters to the bus stop. Got on the number 28 for 1 Rmb it took us all the way to the centre near the sun city hotel and we got off by the Qilou Food street which was exactly where we were going next. Result!

    Temple
I always enjoy visiting local attractions but once you've been to one many are the same. They are always worth a visit but this one needed a bit of a tidy up and the toilets were a disgrace.
