Easy to navigate & fun

A good time for a good price. My teenage girls played 18 holes and it was challenging enough for them to stay interested but not frustrated. Interesting tidbits about Blackbeard at every hole actually got a lot of conversation going in our group too.

    A quick round of miniature gold while waiting for LuLu's
    A challenging course, especially hole number 15, which I 'snowmanned' [though the rules state the max as six strokes]. Along the course, there are information boards that share facts about Edward Teach's life and adventures. A wide variety of challenges can be found throughout the eighteen-hole course, some much more challenging than others. I would strongly suggest studying each hole carefully if you have the time and are do not have another group following you. Fortunately, I was victorious by one stroke! While waiting 2.5 hours for a reservation at the large restaurant across the street, we drove to Pirate's Island Adventure Gold and plate Blackbeard's Challenge course [there is an 'easier' course, too].

    Fun and Well Maintained
    Course was well maintained (no scuffed up astroturf or similar). We did both courses over two different days. Staff was very friendly and professional. Major thing to note is that there are substantial discounts readily available over posted prices on their website. Free games via other promotions were also quite easy to come by. Course doesn't have a lot of scenic obstacles, but is overall very scenic. The pirate facts at each hole also became a highlight. The place is very busy, but the holes flow pretty well.
