El Yunque Waterslide & Rope Swing

Bryan was the best guide. Well organized, energetic, kind, and informative. He made the day fun while staying professional. He gave us an itinerary for a day trip to do on our own in Arecibes area. The El Yunque trip was a blast. We would highly recommend others to go.

Awesome experience
We took a trip to El Yunque rainforest with our tour guide MARLON who was the best! We met at a meeting point got into a van with some other folks and it was about an hr drive from the condado area. We did trail hiking , natural waterslide, and swam and jumped off rocks ranging from 8 ft up to 30 ft! Also there is a rope swing!! The water was beautiful and refreshing although you can just hang out and people watch. There was trail hiking and climbing so you should be fit to do this adventure. It was just the right amount of time , about 6 hrs all said and done, and had us back at our meeting point with time left in the day to relax before dinner. Oh! Even though lunch wasn't included we stopped at a roadside lunch spot , a favorite of the locals in the area, and got the most delicious roasted chicken and rice, (there is plenty of other items) with a fresh smoothie! Very cheap too!

Fantastic adventure!
We loved our guide Ivan! He was fun and personable and clearly cares about the rainforest and nature. His enthusiasm and humor got everyone excited to embrace the mud and the adventure. We learned a lot about plants and Taino legends related to weather and the forest. The waterfall slides and jumping off high rocks were a highlight of our whole trip. Our teenagers loved it all and even mom went down and loved the waterslides. We saw other groups in helmets and life jackets and were glad those were not part of our plan. They seem unecessary and bulky.
