Very very interesting island... If you are in Zhuahi and you have time, you must visit this island and enjoy in nice nature, fresh air, sun,... Do not visit this place if weather is not nice...

Good urban walk
I imagine this island has changed a lot since the Opera House was constructed. It's a good place for a reasonable walk, close to a major shopping area in Zhuhai. You can either walk across one of the bridges to the island or you can take a bus Z11 from Fenghuangbei Road. Once on the island, you can take the road to the right and follow to a path around the forested part and goes all the way to the new commercial area and the Opera House. You can also choose the path over the small hill. You can get a good look at the Opera House close-up and then have a rest in one of an increasing number of cafes/restaurants in the shopping centre. This place seems hugely popular with the locals and Chinese tour groups and there's generally traffic congestion on the bridge. It's a good place for a decent walk in the city with good views of the Opera House.
