Over 1,000 people waiting in queue
On a Chinese National Holiday, after seeing the queue at this Catholic Cathedral, I left and returned two hours later. The people in queue had changed, but still there were well over 1,000 people waiting to enter. Looked like about 99% of those waiting are Chinese. I was surprised by such interest by Chinese in a Catholic church. Not being one for waiting in queue for over an hour, I did not enter.

Beautiful Church
Stunning church, aka the Notre Dame of East Asia. Worth a visit -- one of only 4 all granite gothic churches in the world. Church service in progress when we visited so we couldn't really walk freely thru the entire church. Free entry.
