Zhuhai International School
Nice location, apart from the International school is a good palce for hiking or biking. No traffic and some nice sight of the ocean and part of Guangdong cost. Is located east of Zhuhai at around 30 KM from the center. There is a bike path from the center of Zhuhai to reach the island.

There are lots of things to do
You can get to Qi’ao Dao/Island (淇澳岛) with bus 85, but it is quite a long way. I do prefer to go by car. Here is a list of things to visit/do, (I have not yet visited all of them): Baishi Street (白石街) White Stone Street was build in memory of the victory of the villagers (used canon) over British opium seller. With silver dollars received from the British, Tian Hou Palace （天后宫）and White Stone Street was built. The Tian Hou Palace contains solders remains. Well worth it to visit. Qi’ao Mangrove Wetlands （淇澳红树林湿地生态园） A board walk leads through the mangrove wet land. Red crabs can be seen during the warmer times along the board walk. A small temple is located within the premises. It seems that they are starting to clean up the wetlands. Even though if you leave the wooden board walk and take the route that is also part of the Guang Dong Green Way you will find "garbage rivers", which is very sad. Aolaiwei International Film & Television Wenhuacheng (奥莱坞国际影视城) On top of the hill is a female Buddha. Walks to beaches below. This place is at the last bus stop. Don't let you be mislead by the name of that place. (entrance fee RMB 10) Suzhaozhang Former Residence （苏兆征故居） Birth place of Suzhaozhang, an early communist party leader. The residence was built by Suzhaozhang’s grandfather. Wenchang Palace （文昌宫） Dongao Ancient Temple (东澳古庙) Zhaozheng Memorial School (兆征纪念学挍) Jinping guo Amusement Park (金苹果游乐园) The amusement park has closed down, but there are some impressive stone dragons at the entrance area. On the island there is also part (some is done some is still being build) of the Guang Dong Green Way (biking route). When we biked during Labor day holidays there were some bike rental places. The biking route will also lead you through some portion of the Mangrove Forrest, it was very beautiful when we went due to the high water level. You will also find Restaurants along the bike route and close to Powan bus station (close to the international school). There you can sit along the water.
