the best hot spring resort in Guangdong
I was there two times with one year interrupt, to my opinion this is the best hot spring resort in Guangdong. They have both: open air baths and under the roof baths, it gives you opportunity not to be upset if it started to rain after you came there (free umbrellars available there everywere!) There are 2 baths with fishes eating your dead skin ( worth to be paid little extra money for this ), coffee bath, milk bath, vine bath, different traditional herbs baths, rose water and rice water baths, dead sea water bath were you may drift as having almost no weight. They have nice view to the seaside, but it is impossible to swim in the sea there ;-(. They have very nice hotel with splendid rooms decorated in different ethnic styles, expensive variant inside has 2 baths which can be filled inn with hot spring water by turning on the tab, also you can use VIP open air swimming pool on top level of the hotel (small, but nice). Traditional Chinese food is very nice there, as well as massage. If you do not wish to spend money for room you may stay to sleep at the relax area after massage. The last comment, you shall stay there at least 5-6 hours cause after 3-4 hours spent there you'll get very relax feeling and would not be able to get away from there at once. I discovered this resort to my Chinese friends and they were surprised that I knew better place than they used to visit leaving there all life. VIP room costs around 1500 RMB per night, simple one is less than 1000 RMB.

A hotel past it golden age
Went for 4 days and stayed on recommendation. The place was a dead town with very little to do in late night/evenings. Could see why it was great in the past but the upkeeping is difficult as it ages somewhat not too gracefully. Spacious in many areas with some interesting facilities all around. Far from the main town and not much of a beach to see. Surrounding environment has much greenery which is appreciated.
