Rainy & Windy Visit
Went in Oct 2017. It was raining and windy, not the best time to visit. Only went to one of the docks and had a lookout at the "lake". In truth, it is a reservoir. A pretty large one where you can take a boat ride out. That view may have been more impressive than standing on the shore. I don't think it's worth the mountain twisty (and dangerous) drive just to see this reservoir. Perhaps on a sunnier day.
