Two birds with one stone

The location of the Albert Heijn supermarket at the Vismarkt (fish market) has been cleverly chosen by the largest supermarket chain in the Netherlands. The store is located in the Korenbeurs, the old corn exchange. It is a wonderful location right in the center and a really beautiful building. Two birds with one stone, so it can remain preserved and used in a good way. It's an asset to the city and its residents and an easy convenient store.

    Wonderful building repurpose.
    This classic commerce building is now an Albert Hein and a liquor store. The liquor store has the best selection of wines,beers and liquors in town, especially jenevers.

    Free and practical
    If you need to get some food anyway, pick this supermarket! They did not hide the architecture. On good days the sunlight through the windows is breathtaking.
