Loved the exhibitions

What a find in Groningen (Art) Museum. Their temporary exhibition on ‘Colour’ was well curated and imaginative. And housed in Alessandro Mendini’s amazing post modern exhibition space extending below the water line. First time I’ve come across the early 20th C artistic collective called De Ploeg based in Groningen - loved their work. Spent a well worth couple of hours loitering there.

    Very interesting Museum.
Very interesting , the building itself is worth visiting apart from the exhibitions , it's quite distinctive and very central . Each time I have been there the exhibitions are terrific. The lobby and stairway has a spectacular glass installation there permanently . Nice cafe for a cup of coffee . Downstairs , under water there are children's activities . Well worth a few hours visit.

    Interesting
A strange mix of exhibition's... Lots of information on the area. Easy to follow everything in Dutch, English and German. A unusual exhibition that you can walk through. Also a don't look down!! ( glass you can walk over) that has about a thirty foot drop over the water. The building itself is set half in the water. So has some unique architecture. If you are lucky the bridge outside will go up and you can get a glimpse of some very interesting artwork underneath it. It's a interesting place to kill a couple of hours.
