Amazing views

Wow, what a great experience! Already know the church, from concerts en exhibitions. But this very special occasion will not be fast forgotten. After an enthousiast story by a volunteer, we got helmets and climbed the very small stairs to the first level and than even higher... we ended near the clocktower. Which we couldnt climb because of the bat colony sleeping in wintertime... But wow! interesting and impressive.

    An old large church with one of the tallest spires in Groningen.
    Aa-Kirk is an old church with some wooden pews and towering arches. It is used for events and other functions.

    Market area of interest
    Great if you want local cheeses and other foods, there were also a few stalls that served takeaway food.
