Wonderful experience with Angel Cruises

We have booked our day trip with Get your Guide and we had a wonderful day! The communication by Whatsapp was very good with Genaro, our guide from Angel Cruises, who welcomed us on the spot we went on the boat, he was always smiling and polite. Our taxi driver Mr. Henry was just amazing, he was very knowledgeable so we had an agreable time discussion on the way from our hotel to Mahébourg and back. And the cruise to Île aux Cerfs was just perfect! We had a wonderful surprise when we found out that, even though they had many cancelling for that day, they maintained the cruise for the 3 of us! Special thanks to our boat captain Joel who was very welcoming and made us laugh a lot...perhaps because the Piña Colada he served us constantly was very tasty as well! It was surely the highlight of our trip in Mauritius so we highly recommend it to the ones who still hesitate what trip they should book for!

    The best boat cruise!
The cruise was perfect! Angel cruise does not overbook the boat so you really get to enjoy your experience (unlike some other companies we saw on the water) beautiful day on the water, we spotted dolphins on the way and got to snorkel in crystal clear water. We went to a few islands to swim and saw the shipwreck and then we had lunch on another island and also got to go to the lighthouse!! Food was tasty and extremely generous! Chicken skewers for appetizers, seafood plate for the main and banana dessert! Our guide Genaro was just amazing! Always smiling and happy and so knowledgeable with any questions we had! Highlight of our trip in Mauritius for sure. Highly recommend ❤️

    Ile aux Cerfs
We booked this tour through Get your Guide and everything went smoothly. We opted for the return and pick up service for an extra charge. They sent a taxi who was very good, polite and informative. We enjoyed his company all the way to the drop off point and back. The tour was excellent. We chose this instead of the catamaran as it allowed for more to see and the lunch was at an island rather than on the boat. It was also more convenient since it can go straight to the waterfall unlike in the catamaran where you need to transfer to smaller boats to see it. Our guide, Hans, was great. He had a good sense of humor and knew enough about the places we visited to make it very enjoyable. Angel cruises had one of the biggest boats which meant more space for everyone. I think the capacity was 14 but we only had 9 in our group. Drinks are available anytime, just ask the guide. Lunch was superb, one of the better ones we tried in Mauritius. Maybe the only issue is that there are no restroom facilities on the island where you have lunch - the ocean is basically your toilet. Snorkeling was pretty ordinary, not really much to see but I think that's probably true for all of Mauritius as the other places we went to were the same. Overall it was good activity, something that you should do when in Mauritius. Ile aux Cerfs is beautiful and should not be missed. Quite pricey but that's Mauritius for you. The only other negative was the jump off point. They (along with all fast boat cruises) uses this resort, can't remember which one. Passengers are not allowed to use the facilities, you can't even sit down on the beach chairs even though it was an early start so no one was using them. We tried to sit on some stone hedge/wall, not allowed either. The security guard will quickly let you know to move on. So if you arrive early or waiting for other passengers, like what happened to us, good luck. You'll find yourself standing by the beach until it's time to go.
