My Fav Museum in Granada
While waiting for the Catedral San Francisco to open, I visited this museum. Entrance fee is $5 or its equivalent in cordobas. Like most houses in historical parts of Granada, there is a courtyard. Surrounding this courtyard are rooms full of exhibits that include pre-historic sculptures, statues of Virgin Mary and St.Francis, oil paintings depicting Nicaraguan sceneries, a big map of Granada, history of Nicaragua, etc. Note that explanations of the exhibits are in Spanish. There is a free, modern restroom towards the back of this museum. The staff are friendly. Highly recommended to visit!

The renewed Museum is Great
We were told this museum was just renewed. We liked how clean and organized it was. The outdoor areas were gorgeous. The rocking chairs for the tourists were a great idea. This place worth the time, the walks and the reading.

As good as you get in Granada
The town is not big on museums, but this collection is quite interesting and worth seeing. The spaces are well presented, the artifacts are of local significance. A nice escape from the sun and heat as well as the grounds and buildings let in a nice breeze from the lake... Worth seeing for the 2$ admission price... Hope this review was helpful!!!
