    Choose the guided tour.
I can’t say enough good things about the guided tour. Our tour guide Tara was great. She was funny and did a great job of pointing out all of the different animals as well as interesting background stories. We went back and forth trying to decide between the guided tour and the self-guided tour. I’m glad we took the guided tour.

Great Place to See Some Great Animals
My wife, 5 yo grandson and I visited Fossil Rim last week. We had Brian as our guide on a tour through the park. It was a cold day in November and it was a slow day. We were the only three people on the tour and Brian treated us royally. He was very informative, personable and gave the grandson plenty of attention. We've been on photo safaris in Africa and this was a whole different experience in a good way. As the animals have no reason to fear man, they make themselves much more visible. Some of the animals will come right up to the vehicle to eat the food provided and I have to say my grandson was in heaven. It was a great day!!!
