Not to be missed treasure in Glen Rose!
What a treasure right in Glen Rose! Museum quality art in a fantastic old grist mill. Beautifully restored buildings as well. We had a fantastic tour by the extremely knowledgeable docent and thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommended!

Mill and art
We were staying across the street, so we walked over to explore the museum during the middle of the afternoon. The place is air conditioned and we appreciated the coolness after being in the 100+ degree heat outside. The museum also serves as a venue for events. Glen Rose has a lot of talented artists. There are many forms of art displayed. Pastels, oils, watercolors, sculptures, photos, etc. There are also some historic artifacts from the city, the hospital that was once here, and the mill. Our hostess took us on a guided tour of the place and explained what we were seeing. It was definitely worth the time. We learned a lot and enjoyed our visit.
