Great experience!

A breathtaking live oak avenue leads visitors one mile down a colonial road to a vistor center, where they can watch short historical film, tour a museum, and browse a gift shop. A walking trail leads to the 1737 tabby ruins of the oldest remaining structure in the Savannah. Trails meander past scenic marsh views to the Colonial Life Area, where costumed interpreters provide living history demonstrations in the afternoons, weather permitting. Five more miles of nature trails are available for those who are more adventurous.

    Great experience!
Breathtaking trees and greenery! Love the entry filled with tree coverage. Fun to explore, you'll enter and find a small building off to the right to pay a small fee (donation rather to help maintain the property) and receive your map from, then enjoy a hike through the trails, about 45mins long, sight see and learn history along the way. Took our pup, so pet friendly. Pictures were beautiful!

    So glad we visited....
I had been to and around Savannah many times but had never heard of Wormsloe until my wife read about it as we traveled in the area. We did have to pay an entry fee ($18 for two and our vehicle) and were then allowed to enter and drive to the parking area at the Visitor's Center Museum. Inside were many fascinating facts and illustrations about Georgia's founding days including a DVD showing depicting the settling in the area. We departed he museum and walked the shorter of the two trails. Along the way were the natural surroundings and depictions of lifestyle of those founding years. NOTE: In this area, Summer may be a time uncomfortable to many visitors. If visiting then I suggest being prepared for humid heat and insects.
