A relaxing day
This place is so relaxing, we were there on a Monday afternoon not too many people. Enjoyed several hours just sitting with girl friends and relaxing drinking wine and wine slushies. Took a bottle of Jalapeno wine and Bloody Mary mix home and now I wish I had 2 bottles of wine to go with my mix,,, Guess I will just have to go back

Wine Yes I Say
Just about a ten minute drive from downtown Galena this vineyard makes a product that has always been a favorite of ours. This was our first visit to the source. The vines were across the street in the distance. The fermentation and bottling operation was housed next to the main house. The retail store was large and airy, chock full of liquid delights. The hostess was super friendly during our tasting and made our purchases even easier. Or was it the wine ? No tour of the process, at least none was offered. Maybe next time I'll ask.
