Great place to enjoy rain or shine!
We were in the area to do a little "springs vacation" and it was raining like nobody's business! I am so grateful this place was there! Amazing...What an absolutely gorgeous place....It was so lovely to be inside enjoying this beautiful space while listening to the storm thrashing about outside. The staff was all very friendly and just the entire place was gorgeous! They even have small outside garden spaces to enjoy. Overall very well done. Also, they request a donation...making it very doable regardless of your finances!

Incredible Museum of Art on the UF campus
Just to visit the Sameul P. Harn Museum of Art would be a reason to visit Gainesville. My husband and I were totally captivated with the many pieces of art we saw there last Sunday.. Don't miss the recent acquisition of the beautiful paintings of Floridian painters--107 are on display of the 1200 paintings received. You could spend many days going to the museum and always discover something worthwhile to see.
