Nice relaxing place, nice small bar, plenty of walking and people watching.
Nice destination place to sit and people watch, dog watch, and have drinks or lunch / dinner. Bar has at least five beers on tap, some great wine spritzers, and bottled beers / etc. Seating for probably 8 big groups and 10 or so couples. Decent prices, and there are snacks also. The bathrooms are not big, so there can be a wait - go early when you need to. Parking is a bit of a mess right now, and you might have to park in the far lot - Waze has both the parking lot and the main depot listed. No cost for parking. They had a few food trucks, one with shaved ice, one with coffee, one with salads and other stuff. Childrens area looked very nice and is fenced, which is nice. We saw staff walking and on ATV's picking up garbage and tending to orderliness. Have a few picnic covered areas, which you probably have to reserve. Lots of walking room.

A good addition, but not really a destination
As I live here I welcome another park. They have made this out of a dingy part of town, and an asset it is. However, this is tripadvisor and I have difficulty endorsing this as a destination unless there is a festival (or, for instance New Year's Eve celebration) going on.
