Porpoise listening station
In the wheelhouse you can listen to the sounds of Little belt. If you stay for a bit, you might even hear the sound of porpoises hunting. The clicks you can hear is recorded by an underwater hydrophone that is located near a reef. If you look closely at the water you might even encounter one of these amazing animals. The reef extends between the two yellow buoys, you can go scuba diving here and see the hydrophone placed at the bottom.

It is free and should be seen as an extension of a whale safari.
Recently moved to the town of Middelfart, so decided to go down to check it out. Having just been on the whale safari in Lillebælt, it was great to learn about the sounds and finding out just how many different whales visit Lillebælt. It was great and it is free.
