If you face a rainy day on your vacation in Middelfart stop by the Culture Island (Kulturøen). You got the town library, tourist information, cinema and the restaurant Swane at the very same place. Absolutely a stop worthy.

Very helpful Tourist Information
Very handy place to visit if you want to book local activities online such as Whale Watching and Canoeing. Staff are helpful and computer access is free. If you're just visiting for the day or at busy times it's best to book activities in advance on Visit Middelfart. View of the Little Belt bridge is great and there's a dressing up box for the kids in the library part.

Wonderful view from the library and a great concert!
We came to Middelfart on a rainy November night for a concert at Kulturon. The building was easy to find and there was nice, free parking just outside. The building is very modern and houses an interesting combination of a movie theatre, the library, the tourist office, an upscale restaurant and a meeting room. We were glad that the library was friendly as we sat there and waited for the concert we should attend. There is a great view of Lille Balt bridge from the library.
