Country Garden with cafe, home made sponge cake
Beautiful park/country garden; great for people with garden interest. And smaller museum, check on site for subject. (2017 about Previously Danish West Indian Islands) Cafe in private villa, homely, only coffee/tea and cake. Also non gluten. Not for smaller children. You can bring your own picnic.

Poor maintenance
We had really looked forward to visiting Humlemagasinets Haver but the experience let us down. The maintenance was lacking on the plants looked as if they needed a lot of extra care. Still plenty of different "gardens" to see but with a little extra care the experience could have been a lot better

Large gardens
This is a very large place. With gardens, museums and coffee shop. It sounded very nice when reading about it, but i was a bit disappointed. You have to pay 100Dkr to get ind. Its much to expensive. For a lower price you can get into the Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen, and the garden there, whilst smaller, is much more beautiful and tastefully made. The large garden consist of a lot of smaller gardens. Some beautiful, but most very lacking symmetri and beauty. A walled garden sounds romantic, but its was a garden that wasn't well kept and the benches were of a very poor quality and most were on the verge of breakdown. Another garden has a lake and a ruin. So the ruin is newly build? so can you call it a ruin? and the gardens seems unfinished. I counted 3 gardens that were tastefully done, with symmetri and good materials. But it was the minority. I dont think we will revisit the place. Funes has lots of beautiful gardens, this wasn't one of them. even though this is a large place the garden seem to be without a plan and just done as you go along.
