Nice aquarium

Fjord&Bælt’s exhibitions are for visitors of all ages. The exhibitions are made up of different rooms where it is possible to immerse yourself in various topics. For instance, in one room you can learn about jellyfish and test your skills at various interactive stations. Another puts you eye-to-eye with the skeleton of a huge sperm whale, where you can test your skills against the fascinating senses and abilities of whales. You can also watch splendid films about the sea on giant screens, which make you feel that you are underwater yourself. The recurring feature of Fjord&Bælt’s exhibitions is our touch pools which provide a unique opportunity to get very close to marine animals. Fjord&Bælt wants to make sure everyone gets his or her hands wet, because we believe that this provides the most profound and intense experience – and hopefully encourages the visitor to ultimately want to take better care of the sea, and not least the aquatic animals living there.

Worth a visit if your in the area
Fjord and baelt is a sea life centre type attraction by the water in the heart of the interesting town of kerteminde. The centre itself houses seals and other sea life educating the visitor about their lives in a Interesting and at times fascinating manner. The underwater tunnel is good and theirs also a cafe on site.

    Not for everyone, expensive also
I have no doubt this place is interesting for graduates and researchers. The feeding the seals and porpoises (and also seagull Andy) was well worth seeing. But for hobbyists like me and my family our visit was sadly a disappointment. The visibility through the underwater windows was poor and the smaller tanks inside the house contained nothing but an average set of fishes and shellfishes (At least to my untrained eye). Entrance fee was high, 43 € for our family of four persons. I would rather have spent that money on a nearby restaurant.
