The loveliest place- if you like nature
Skovsgarrd is fantastic for young and old alike. There are lots of activities for kids. Where you can investigate the mote and its inhabitants, pat animals and learn about nature. For adults, take a stroll in the park or a longer walk on the large property that has a variety of habitats, like forest, meadows, beaches, and a lovely old windmill. After the stroll you can enjoy a lovely home cooked meal, made on the organic vegetables and meats cultured at the farm. If you are for alcohol free drinks, why not try a rose soda to the food? Or a Danish beer. The also have good coffee and tea and absolutely scrumptious cake. The personnel are nice and helpful too. Before you leave, buy fresh vegetables and meats home or a good Danish beer made on the grounds. Enjoy this lovely place at any time of year, but spring and summer are of course lovely.

    Best place on Langeland
Imagine a fairy tale palace. Built like a water castle. Surrounded by mystic woods and a beautiful nature. So big you can spend more days there. A fantastic organic restaurant with escellent food, organic drinks, buffet, cake/coffee. As it belongs to the Nature Fond in Denmark the focus is on environment. Marianne - the local scout knows EVERYTHING about Flora and Fauna. She makes tours with children wherre they catch frogs, she shows them the bird area (there is eagles nesting). And the best thing - you can free walk around in the castle. So on days with mixed weather its perfect. When its ok you go outside and when it rains you look inside and go to the cafe. There is also animals goats/sheep/cows and a complete farm setup from the good old times. A must to see!
