Beautiful Building
Happened to pass by here one day and found the doors to be open. So my wife and I wandered in and were immediately taken aback as to how beautiful this church building is. The interior of the church is well maintained, whilst we were in we observed a woman clambering all over the altar, taking measurements of the paintings. The gardens outside, however, are well maintained and make for a relaxing walk around the exterior of the building to absorb how beautiful this place really is.

Local church
How else to describe a church? Its a typical Danish Lutheran church. There a ship replicas hanging from the ceiling which reflect the seafaring nature of the country. Its simple, Scandinavian and welcoming. The church is within walking distance of the main town square. A quiet and cool haven from the bustle outdoors.

Beautiful church
Entering the church in Ærøskøbing you notice it is unique in a number of ways. The maritime colour blue is dominant - it is even used for the entrance door! The church is well kept and sizeable taking into account the number of people living there amounts to approximately 2500. As many as 4 ships in the church. Wondering around in the streets of Ærøskøbing you ought to drop by here.
