    PARADISE
    I strongly recommend Tan Nan Wan beach on the island.There are a lot of things to do.You can rent a jet ski,swim,hike.There are some restaurants and bbq shops with delicious sea food.This beach has changed a lot in 1 year.White sand,blue sea,amazing climate,simply, paradise !

    Perfect Example of Coastal China
    Contrary to some islands, Pingtan retains a very modest appearance throughout most of the island. Abundant street seafood, lots of sand everywhere, and most people will be very curious to see a non-chinese visitor. My advice is get off the main streets and up the hills, try to rent a bike and just ride along the shore. It definitely won't be crowded, you'll get great views (both ocean and small stone villages with a rural look), and you might even be lucky enough to come across a small café like I did, and get yourself some bubble tea. Pingtan for the win!! PS: Try all the street food!!! There is so much variety and it is all so tasty!!
