Wonderful also in winter

Beautiful in wintertime, just after 4 days of heavy snowfall. Be aware that in snow conditions you may need snow chains. We left the car lower down the road and walked last 30-45 minutes to the lakes though.

    Lovely lake and backdrop
    Drove up after a stop close by.. the lakes were featured on a ident for Eurovision 2022. Parking is free for electric cars, else was around 4 euros. Parked close to the weir on the lower lake. Walked around the lower lake and up to the upper lake which looked low in volume. Both have amazing views… Came back the following day and spent all day by the side of the lower lake.

    Beautiful views, I was amazed
    Beautiful views,but you should avoid the weekends it is fully parked. The entrance is free from 4:30/5 During with the whole lake is frozen , you can hike around it following a trail .or go across it. But I won't recommend
