Modern swimmingpool with slides and rapids
This complex of swimmingpools, slides and rapids in the village of Joure (Friesland Province) was re-opened in 2015. The indoor pool has artificial waves and a beachlike entrance. Unfortunately the new slide is rather dangerous when you use a tube. The slide ends in a shallow pool and the tubes tend to collide with a staircase and to roll over just after that. Officially the slides are only open to children at least 8 years old. Entrance fee for one day was 6,20 euro for a child and 6,90 euro for an adult.

    Nice, no nonsence, but busy
Today (Christmas holiday season) was flipping busy. Appearantly there is no limitation at the entrance. We come here more often and at low season it is less crowded. Tropical with everything you expect from a small swimming pool in a town in the north. Note that the service at the snacks is extremely slow with long lines, but okey.
