The five craftmen in Joure open their doors an audience. You can see them working on clocks, jewelry and boats in their workshop. All their products are made by hand. You can pay them a visit and ask them about their work and process. In the workshops they have also the products on display.

Celebrating the heritage crafts of Joure
Joure was and is the home of several crafts, such as Frisian clock making, metal craft (silver, brass) and weather stations, not based on electronic chips, but on mechanically measuring the physical parameters. The "Stichting Ambachten van Joure" (Joure Craft Foundation) has the goal of preserving these heritage crafts.
