Special exhibition of Chinese Porcelain, amazing collection, beautiful presentation
The Keramiek Museum Princessehof = The Ceramics Museum Princessehof houses one of the largest collections of not only Dutch but International ceramics and porcelain as well. We went especially to the Princessehof in Leeuwarden to visit the very large exhibition 10.000 x Happiness! Auspicious Motifs on Chinese Porcelain. We really were astonished by the beauty and the splendor of the objects exhibited. All objects are from the collections of several Dutch museums. To see this amazing collection, please hurry! This exhibition only runs till October 30, 2011! You really will be sorry to have missed this exhibition! Note: the telephone number has changed into +31 (0)58 2 948 958!

One of the most interesting museums in the Netherlands
Even though you may not be particular interested in porcelain and ceramics this is a nice museum to visit. It has a very nice Dutch as well as international collection including (Dutch) tiles, which is supposed to be one of the best in the world. If you come to Friesland / Leeuwarden, you have to visit this museum!
