Do not forget to go inside

Of course you need to visit the bunker. It gives a great view over the island and the inside is even more interesting. I still would like to know what the poem means. What I did not understand is, why most people staid on top of it and then left. Please go inside!

    Top of the hill
    A lone bunker on the top of the hill. Build by Germans during the war. Free access and there is a small information board at the stairs. Easy to reach by bike/road. No toilet present. There rooms inside the bunker to discover. Bring a torch, lights from smartphones are not enough?

    WWII History
    Small but interesting explanation about the occupation of the island, the building and functioning of the bunkers during WWII which were used as observatories for air raids. There is quite some reading to do which is unfortunately almost only in Dutch. Limited opening hours
