An interesting venue full of Franklin, Tennessee history and a fun place on rainy days.
As much as you might come to The Factory for the Farmers Market, the florist or bakery, I truly was more interested in the history, architecture and sculptures. An amazing place with the giant factory worker sculpture in front welcomes you. The building is brick like the factories of that era and judiciously preserved leaving many of the old windows and fixtures. Hopefully it will continue to thrive post pandemic; most of the shops appeared to have some business the day we were there early on a Monday morning. I would allow about an hour here if you just wanted to walk around a bit and do some casual shopping.

Recycled factory with a variety of independent stores
There are a number of different shops and restaurants in this recycled factory. I stopped in twice when I was in the Franklin area: on a early Friday evening to grab some supper and on Saturday afternoon to see if I missed some shops that were not open on my first visit. It was a lot busier on Saturday. If you love to shop, this would be a place to add to your agenda. It is next to the area where the farmers market is located and just a short distance away form downtown Franklin.
