Myra casino pit boss anger management issues.
This was about my 10th trip on Tropical Breeze, but this was the last and here is why. I can overlook the shortcomings because it was a nice little cruise to play black jack. but on Monday June 10th I was playing Black Jack on Table 1 in the casino on the 2nd floor, and was doing pretty well, and the the Pit Boss named Myra comes over in a heat of anger and said stop the game. She claimed that the dealer had overpaid me 10 dollars 3 hands ago. Wow, I said I don't even know what you are talking about. She said that the owner of the boat had seen the event through the overhead cameras. I told her that I would like to see proof. and she came unglued talking to me like a dog. I am 68 years of age and really don't appreciate a six ft. chain smoking getting in my face, when in fact if the error had occured she and the boat owner should have handled it with the dealer, not patron that is on thier boat giving them buisness.. After that the pit boss who is spitting nails at this point starts dealing the cards slamming them down like she wants to bite someones head off. I then got out and went to the cashier to cash in my chips only to find that the boat owner had told her to short me 10 dollars. Now that took the cake. in any other casino in the world this would not have involved the player. Only time would be if pit boss is there at that specific hand and can prove the error. So. If you are a gambler, and you want to play Black Jack, go to the Hard Rock in Tampa where you get treated like a person instead of a dog. I pray that the owner and the Pit Boss Myra read this because eventually I have dedicated my retired time to costing the Boat a lot more than 10 lousy dollars. thanks

What a Shame
Too bad this place has completely gone to hell. Not that it was fantastic before but this was pitiful. The shuttle left 20 minutes late. There were more employees than customers on the early shuttle. My wife and I like to go out a couple times a year. (Used to be more often....but conditions have deteriorated so much that going on the Suncruz is kinda like eating that last hotdog at 7-11 which has been rolling over and over for two months in that heat thingamabob.) I am not writing this review because I lost a lot of $$$. Actually won $200 but at least 1/4 of the machines are broken and no one seems to care. Most employees were rude or trying but owner doesn't care. If someone had the $$$ this could be a gold mine and a great place to bring family and friends visiting. STAY AWAY! This place advertises like its Las Vegas on the beautiful Gulf Coast but it's more like a downtown Detroit package store than anyplace you would want to bring anyone you know. If you still decide to go bring a 5 gallon bucket of hand sanitizer and have your spouse poor it on you and set you on fire. Enough Said.
