Great bike rental near Pinellas Trail
Excellent bike shop with quality rentals. Real friendly staff as well. They supply a helmet, bike lock and a bag with a spare tube, pump and tools, which fortunately I did not have to use. Plus they do a quick check up of the bike before you head out. Easy access to the Pinellas Trail. Less than a 5 minute ride through a neighborhood to park access. I’ll be back next I’m in the area.

Quality shop with super friendly people working there too
I went down to the Seminole area on vacation and wanted a road bike for the day to ride the Pinellas Trail. This store was amazing. I went in the day before with my pedals and Marie made sure the bike was the right fit for me. When I got there first thing in the morning the bike was ready to fo with my pedals already mounted. The trail is a great ride (and you can get on it like 400 yards from the shop). It was a welcome change to not be riding in traffic and I was able to get a good long ride in. Great scenery and an easy ride. The bike was a pleasure to ride too. I had struggled with whether I should bring my bike down with me (from ATL) and I’m glad I didn’t bother with it. The shifting was dialed in - this bike was WELL maintained. If I lived down there, I know for sure where I would be taking my bike for service!

Pinellas Trail Bicycle Rental
Trail Sport Bicycles is a bike store and rental location with easy access to riding the beautiful Pinellas Trail system which stretches from St. Petersburg to Tarpon Springs. We rented Marin touring bikes for $20 per day (amazing I know). You would have to phone to inquire about longer rental periods. The pathway system is great, water fountains along the way. The pathway system used to be an old railroad which was paved over. The pathway does not provide ocean views and runs inland but is very enjoyable. There are several overpasses and main intersections that would lead to ocean access roads.
