    Great Family Outing
The day after Christmas as a family we decided to go out and have some fun at Topgolf. The location has the perfect set up a bar for drinks, restaurant for food and a great driving range. The food was pretty appetizers, burgers, sandwiches and drinks.

    There’s Good, Bad, and Ugly
Drove down to Topgolf today. I debated on reserving a bay, but could not stomach spending $50 just on a reservation. We arrived at 3:30 pm and were sent right to a bay. Glad I didn’t spend the $50. We stayed approx. 90 minutes and found things good, bad, and ugly. Here’s the breakdown: Good - Place was very clean and tidy, and parking was a breeze. I brought my own clubs, though was glad to see clubs provided at no cost. We were sent right to a bay to begin. We ordered a giant pretzel charcuterie and it was perfect. No complaints at all on food quality or presentation. Kudos. Loved the golf aspect. Absolutely zero complaints. Bad - Was very surprised that there was no one to assist first-timers on how to set up the players. While it seemed reasonably simple, I can see how some would have issues navigating their way to enter players, and set up a game. There was a noticeable lack of garbage receptacles. I had to find a cleaning cart to dump some things. The furniture showed signs of wear and dirt. It needs to be cleaned. The Ugly - I noticed several reviews that mentioned service. I had hoped that management had addressed this issue since there were replies to concerns. I can tell you I am not a stickler for service, but expect at a minimum for the wait staff to be timely and attentive. This was not the case. Jeff, our server was at our bay within minutes of our arrival, ready to take our drink orders. So far we hadn’t even seen the menu. We ordered a beer and an iced tea. The beer arrived within minutes, but no iced tea. When I finally was able to grab a server, I was told it would be right out. 5-10 minutes later the iced tea came. At that point we ordered the giant pretzel board. I checked the time and can tell you it took more than 30 minutes for one single dish to come out, with no special instructions. When the food finally arrived, I asked for another iced tea, though not in a plastic glass. 15 minutes later, still no drink. I did note however that people buying alcohol had rapid turn-around of order to drink delivery. Seriously. Jeff came back over and said he would be right back. Iced tea came back in a plastic glass. At that point I gave up and asked for the bill and left before our bay time was up. Additionally, I asked about their military discount. Seemed that no one knew how to do that though their web site says they do. Overall, wait staff is not attentive to your needs or questions; solely focusing on getting the drinks and food orders. Follow-up was abysmal. In closing, I would say go for the golf experience. Its a good time. Do not go for the service as it is slow and continues to be a problem judging by the reviews. Either they need to add more servers to meet demand or they are letting their wait staff drop the ball. Where’s management in all this? I’m sure service is much better if you are seated at the bar. The food we had was great, no issue. Overall, the poor service really made a 5 star review become a 3 star review. If I go back to this venue, I will make sure to expect less than average service.
