A Hidden Gem for History and Hiking Enthusiasts
The park is an ideal location for learning history. Kingsley Plantation and Fort Caroline are interesting to see what happened here so many years ago. The park is made of different units that are scattered around the Jacksonville area. It is worth the drive to see all the different sections. Many have hiking trails that move through a variety of different Florida habitats. A true hidden gem that most do not realize is a National Park unit.

Fl Trip 2020
This preserve is part of the National Park Service and includes several other attractions. It is a place where one can boat or fish, however one needs to adhere to state licensing and regulations. There are, also, hiking and walking trails.
