New lighthouse
When the Tampa Bay Watch organization built their new facility in 2005 they included a USCG-permitted lighthouse. It is the first new lighthouse in Florida in over 50 years. Although you are not allowed to climb up into the lighthouse, the location is very scenic and the organization has other activities at the site.
