Artful escape
At some point, we got pretty tired of the South Beach spring break crowd. We found the Wolfsonian practically deserted - a shame because their collection is very interesting! It matches South Beach's Art Deco theme, although the collection delves deeper into product design, posters, sculpture, painting, and even city building. Fascinating escape, and warmly recommended to recharge some brain cells!

Nice find
This was my third time in Miami, but the very first I've visited this great museum set in a former warehouse. I got pretty tired and enough visiting lavish palaces throughout Europe with their opulent stylish furniture, so this one depicting last centuries 20-30's was a great and interesting find for me. For only few bucks entry fee I could admire Art Deco furniture, retro everyday objects my parents used, as well some pieces of that era's art. The exhibition is not that big, wont consume much of your time, and is ideally located in the heart of Art Deco district on Washington Av.
