Don’t miss out on this museum. Beautiful gardens on the river and free admission Tuesday and Friday from 4-9. Bigger than it seems and switches out some artworks to keep fresh things to look at and learn about. COVID precautions require you to RSVP for a time slot to limit the people in the museum at one time. Also mandatory masks.

    Great visit
Two seniors visited here on a Sunday afternoon in Mid-January and spent four hours but could have spent more time. (We do tend to read most write-ups on items in a museum, YMMV.) We were visiting the Jacksonville area and were lucky enough to catch the last day of their special exhibit on “The Age of Armor”. It was fantastic and we spent two hours just in this exhibit. There is more to see in other areas of the museum, as the Cummer Family evidently collected many types of art. Overall very interesting.
